The SB 400 is a new generation of counterfeit detector, ideal for checking the authenticity of Euro notes in busy retail settings.
This automatic counterfeit detector accepts notes in all four orientations, so it is extermely fast and easy to use. Additionally a rechargable battery version is available making it portable within the retail environment.
The note's authenticity is checked in less than a second using a number of characteristics inluding UV, IR magnetic ink and note image. This unit has been approved as 100% effective by the European Central Bank.
