When fire strikes, not only does it destroy the premises but it will also engulf the company paperwork and essential records required for the company. Unfortunately, only too often, loss of these vital documents results in the destruction of the company itself.
Statistics suggest that as many as 35% of companies will cease to exits within the first five years after a major fire. Many records including debtor records, payroll and pension data, product designs, orders, invoices, legal documents and deeds require protection.
By law you are required to protect any hazardous paints and chemicals from theft and fire.
The Phoenix Fire Commander series of safes and cupboards offers unbeatable protection for data, documents and cash. In a furnace test the Fire Commander series safely protected its contents for over 3 hours at an incredible 1122°C.
Not only can it withstand incredible heat but with it's colossal strength, it can withstand the pressure of a building collapsing on top of it during a fire.
The doors are secured to the frame using three way espagnolette bolt work and locked by a high security digital electronic lock. The lock allows the user to programme their own personal codes up to a maximum of 16 digits. The 1901 and 1902 models have the advantage of a "slam action" auto locking system which will lock the doors automatically during an emergency.
The capacity of the 1900 Series ranges from a modest 163 litres to a staggering 688 litres and they are fitted with adjustable full width shelves and either one or two lockable steel drawer units.
A Data Protection Insert (DP103) is available as an option on the 1902 and 1903 should you wish to store data as it will keep it's internal temperature below 52°C. It will also keep media free from water, airborne debris, humidity, toxic gases, superheated steam and smoke which is critical for media such as diskettes, CDs, Hard Disks, USB drives etc. With this ensure you are successfully protected against every type of dducument, whether it be paper records or data against even the most hazardous of fires.
