The Selex 2000 Mixed Value Counter is suitable for counting mixed value coin. Simply place your mixed coin in the hopper and the Selex 2000 will quickly and efficiently determine their value. A sorting feature is also available. Just choose the coin denomination(s) you want sorted from the batch and all coins of this type will be separated from the rest.
New coin types can be added with ease, allowing for advanced functionality. For example, Euro and British Sterling coins are easily seperated from the same batch, as are foreign or forged coins. Batching coins is easy too, making the Selex 2000 particularly suitable for bagging coins for depositing.
The Selex 2000 uses cutting edge coin recognition technology based around its 3 CCD imaging system, similar to the technology used in top-of-the-range cameras. It can count up to 2,000 coins a minute and its hopper can store 2,500.
